Freight & Logistics Management Platform

A comprehensive freight and logistics platform managing shipments, purchase orders, invoice parsing, customer portals, and fleet operations.

Business Overview

The client runs a freight and logistics business. The operation manages shipments for customers, coordinates purchase orders, handles invoices from suppliers, and tracks vehicles across a fleet. Multiple teams depend on the same information: dispatch, billing, and customer support.

The Challenge

Logistics information was spread across separate tools. Shipments were tracked in one place, purchase orders in another, and invoices arrived as documents that staff had to read and enter by hand. Vehicle locations were not visible in real time, so dispatchers could not answer basic questions about where a shipment was without calling the driver. Customers had no way to see the status of their own shipments.

The Solution

Xupyter built a logistics platform that brings the operation into one system. Shipments, purchase orders, and invoices are managed in a shared workflow. Invoice parsing reads incoming documents and extracts the data automatically. Fleet tracking shows real-time vehicle locations. A customer portal gives customers visibility into their shipments, while reporting gives management a view across the entire operation.

How It Works

The platform is used by dispatch, billing, and customer support against the same records. A shipment is created from a purchase order or customer request, and its status is updated as it moves. Drivers appear on a live map, so dispatchers can answer where a vehicle is. Incoming invoices are parsed and matched to the right shipment or order. Customers log into the portal to check their shipments, and management reviews the operation through reporting.
